TAAL AND ANILAO IN BATANGAS

TAAL VOLCANO

Taal Volcano is also called as Bombou. The smallest active volcano in the world. Thirty three eruptions have been recorded since 1572 at Taal.
It is located in Talisay and San Nicolas, Batangas.

Almost all of us thought that this is the Taal, Volcano. But it's just part of it.

*Photo not mine. Got it from Google.
Look at the picture, the real Taal Volcano, is the biggest one.
In order for you to go in this part, you have to ride a boat for at least 15-30 minutes. The boat ride fee is 1500.00. That's the cheapest.
Don't ride the boat without any life vest. always wear a life vest.
Bring extra clothes you'll surely get wet because of the impact of the boat in the water.

After the boat ride, you have to go ride a horse in order for you to climb the volcano. BUT honestly we can't afford to ride a horse, we're just students and we need to budget our allowances because our tour is for 2 days and 1 night.

There are souvenir shops here, you'll see it before climbing the volcano.
And there is also carenderia if you want to eat.

On our way, there are some residents especially minors, who brings some foods on the top of the volcano, One of them says that they'll be using it for their store up there.
This kids help their parents so much. <3

Some parts of the volcano is discharging some hot smoke. As you can see in the picture.
The pathways are full of pupu ng kabayo so this is very challenging! :D
It's not easy to climb this volcano, it requires so much energy. Better bring your bottled water so you'll not be dehydrated.

After the long and tedious climbing of the volcano, Finally! We reached the top of it. It was all worth it. Seeing the beauty of this place, it takes away my body pain and sufferings from climbing this volcano.
One word to describe it. . It's "PRICELESS".

After the climb. . "kahit wala ng pupu na dapat iwasan, di ko mapigilan yung paa ko na umiwas ng umiwas. feeling ko meron pa din! :D"

RATES:
  • Tourists fee - P50.00
  • Boat ride - P1500.00
  • Horse back ride - P450.00
  • Tour Guide's fee - P500.00

ANILAO, BATANGAS

Anilao is located in Mabini, Batangas. It is popular for divers and snorkelers. Night dive is the most popular activity here.

A Marine protected Sanctuary that is commonly regarded as the birthplace of Scuba diving in the Philippines.

Luckily, someone offered an affordable accommodation. And of course we don't have any plans to go further coz we are all tired.

We stayed in AILEEN BY THE SEA Resort. The Management/staffs are very accommodating, they are approachable.

Of course as a resort, they also have rules.

We don't have any foods for dinner, so we planned to go outside the resort. While walking, we saw this chapel, people are busy putting lights on it for the forthcoming Christmas.

And luckily, there are some carenderias outside. And the area is just near the market. There are stores for souvenirs.

The next day, We ride a boat. So we can go to the fish sanctuary.
The boat ride is worth P1500.00 good for 7pax.
Here you can feed the fishes with the bread from the bangkero of course you can also swim, but there are small jelly fish so be careful.
And there are corals. Be careful also coz you might destroy it.
There are many kinds of fishes. They have different colors.
It's illegal to catch those fish and don't leave any garbage in the sea.

Anilao is not that developed compared to other beaches. Establishments are few. But everything you need is there. Market, food establishments, souvenir shops, chapel, basketball court, tourism office, and etc.

Lovely seashells can be found in the seaside. There are many of them. Carried by the waves of the sea.

Best place to visit in summer. Affordable accommodations and hospitable people. <3

If given a chance, I want to go back to Anilao.
Anilao is the reason why I have my 2nd family. :)
It gives us an unforgettable experience.
