DAMIRES HILLS TIERRA VERDE

Image
"A leisure farm with a touch of contemporary Filipino hospitality. Come and enjoy life’s pleasure as you walk with nature." (damireshills.com) If you're a nature lover, better visit this place. You'll surely love it! :) Actually this place is just our 2nd option. (kahit alam kong masakit ang maging 2nd option lang! hehehe) Because my family planned that we go to Guimaras, but for some reasons it turned out going to this resort. But I loved the place. <3 any of the 2 (Guimaras or Damires Hills is okay with me) We visited this place for day-tour only. Because on the next day, we'll be going back to Laguna. A farmer and a Carabao. Symbolized that this place is a combination of a leisure farm and a resort.  The resort is located at the heart of Brgy. Damires, Janiuay, Iloilo, Philippines. So if you're going to visit Ilo-ilo, Don't forget to visit this more-like eco resort. :) Damires Hills offe...

NAGCARLAN UNDERGROUND CEMETERY

Image
A national historical landmark and museum in Barangay Bambang, Nagcarlan, Laguna supervised by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. It was built in 1845 under the supervision of Franciscan priest, Fr. Vicente Velloc as a public burial site and its underground crypt exclusively for Spanish friars, prominent town citizens and members of elite Catholic families. It is dubbed as the only underground cemetery in the country. TAKE NOTE: When visiting the place, They don't allow taking pictures with flash. Why? at first, we thought we might capture or disturb some spirits. But when they say the reason why, it gives us a trivia.  They don't allow flashes because it helps them to preserve the place. Camera flash may harm the structure of the historical place. Perfect view. <3 exactly at the center. This is my 2nd time to visit this historical underground cemetery and it never fails to amaze me.  The grasses/plants are well...

TAAL AND ANILAO IN BATANGAS

TAAL VOLCANO Taal Volcano is also called as Bombou. The smallest active volcano in the world. Thirty three eruptions have been recorded since 1572 at Taal. It is located in Talisay and San Nicolas, Batangas. Almost all of us thought that this is the Taal, Volcano. But it's just part of it.  *Photo not mine. Got it from Google. Look at the picture, the real Taal Volcano, is the biggest one. In order for you to go in this part, you have to ride a boat for at least 15-30 minutes. The boat ride fee is 1500.00. That's the cheapest.  Don't ride the boat without any life vest. always wear a life vest. Bring extra clothes you'll surely get wet because of the impact of the boat in the water. After the boat ride, you have to go ride a horse in order for you to climb the volcano. BUT honestly we can't afford to ride a horse, we're just students and we need to budget our allowances because our tour is for 2 days and 1 n...
