MANUEL UY BEACH RESORT

Image
Manuel Uy Beach Resort is located in Brgy. Sta. Ana in Calatagan, Batangas. This place is good for budget travelers and those who wants to relax. Better bring your own tents if you're planning to visit this place coz they don't have any means of accommodations here. No hotels, no rooms, no cottages. If you don't want to sleep in a tent, better visit "Stilts" resort. It's near Manuel Uy. But I think It's a little expensive there. They have bathroom here. and there's a fee. The water is a bit salty but you have no choice. hehe. NOTE: By 2am-4am there is no "bantay" in bathrooms so consider that time where you can use the CR for free. hihihi. :D FEES: - ENTRANCE FEES: Daytour 50php / Overnight 100php - TENT PITCHING: 50php - BATHROOM FEES: Wiwi 5php / Poops 10php / Taking a bath 20php - LONG TABLE: 300php to 400php (But its okay not to rent a table just bring your own table or bring your "sapin". LA PACHIRA RESORT & GUISI LIGHTHOUSE

Image
LA PACHIRA On our way going to La Pachira, the Jeepney driver brought us to the souvenir/pasalubong shop "the trappist abbey". The monks earn a living by selling souvenir items like bracelets, keychains, rosary, bags, clothes, etc. and processed foods (good for pasalubong) such as jellies, jams, candies, piyaya and more, which are sold in a small shop within the monastery grounds. Outside the shop there's a mid-old lady selling her "bukayo" or the coconut with sugar which is a little bit sticky but I assure you, you'll regret if you don't buy and taste it. :P La Pachira Resort is located in Guisi, Brgy. Dolores, Nueva Valencia Guimaras.  You can rent a cottage, table, or room here in La Pachira. But the problem is. . you have to go down of this stair if you want to go swimming in the beach which is I find more difficult for others specially if you have kids and if you're with someone old (grandfather, grandmother, etc...

A peaceful place popular to couples, family, nature lovers, and photographers.  The Japanese Garden along Lake Caliraya (in Laguna) is a memorial park built by the Japanese government in the 1970s in order to commemorate the Japanese soldiers who died during the Second World War. DAMIRES HILLS TIERRA VERDE

Image
"A leisure farm with a touch of contemporary Filipino hospitality. Come and enjoy life’s pleasure as you walk with nature." (damireshills.com) If you're a nature lover, better visit this place. You'll surely love it! :) Actually this place is just our 2nd option. (kahit alam kong masakit ang maging 2nd option lang! hehehe) Because my family planned that we go to Guimaras, but for some reasons it turned out going to this resort. But I loved the place. <3 any of the 2 (Guimaras or Damires Hills is okay with me) We visited this place for day-tour only. Because on the next day, we'll be going back to Laguna. A farmer and a Carabao. Symbolized that this place is a combination of a leisure farm and a resort.  The resort is located at the heart of Brgy. Damires, Janiuay, Iloilo, Philippines. So if you're going to visit Ilo-ilo, Don't forget to visit this more-like eco resort. :) Damires Hills offe...

NAGCARLAN UNDERGROUND CEMETERY

Image
A national historical landmark and museum in Barangay Bambang, Nagcarlan, Laguna supervised by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. It was built in 1845 under the supervision of Franciscan priest, Fr. Vicente Velloc as a public burial site and its underground crypt exclusively for Spanish friars, prominent town citizens and members of elite Catholic families. It is dubbed as the only underground cemetery in the country. TAKE NOTE: When visiting the place, They don't allow taking pictures with flash. Why? at first, we thought we might capture or disturb some spirits. But when they say the reason why, it gives us a trivia.  They don't allow flashes because it helps them to preserve the place. Camera flash may harm the structure of the historical place. Perfect view. <3 exactly at the center. This is my 2nd time to visit this historical underground cemetery and it never fails to amaze me.  The grasses/plants are well...
